Fastest Response starts at Dell.com

Dell.com provided the fastest high broadband access time among Top 50 retailers for June, says Gomez Inc.

At 2.86 seconds Dell was followed by Zappos.com (3.36 seconds), FootLocker.com (3.63 seconds) and Avon.com (3.76 seconds).

Using a dial-up connection, Quixtar.com provided the fastest site response time at 36.48 seconds.

In June, a shopper with a high broadband connection could access a Top 50 retail site in 5.96 seconds, compared with 14.33 seconds for a low broadband connection and 58.96 seconds for dial-up.
