Release Highlights
• New folder management system: View and access all rich media assets from a single persistent pane in the left-hand frame. Offers two areas to help organize a company’s rich media, by asset type with unlimited subfolders or by projects for mixed assets or multiple projects. Advanced search function to locate any file across all assets & projects.
• eCatalog search: Support for keyword search in the eCatalog solution (Flash & DHTML), including ability to automatically extract text strings upon upload of PDF’s, isolate and highlight all keywords and their positioning on every page, configure flexible search behavior and results page, e.g., enabling/disabling specific strings, prefixes, suffixes, and configure highlighted search results & eCatalog pages.
• eVideo management: Upload, organize, preview and publish Flash-based eVideos, including ability to configure and apply custom branded viewers using Flash ‘skins’.
• Image and text rollover: Ability to configure rollover panes that can include formatted text and imagery, ideal for highlighting product information, available for Zoom, Zoom/Swatch and eCatalog Flash viewers.
• Improved performance for Zoom, Zoom/Swatch and eCatalog viewers: Significant performance gains for all Flash and DHTML viewers with substantially improved loading and paging performance by up to 2X.
• Swatch zoom with alternative views: Ability to combine color swatching with alternative views and zoom.
• Improved image server performance: Increased cache system performance for large-scale image server configurations, improved caching performance with CDN services, font caching to improve text rendering performance for high demand custom applications.
• SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) support: Enabling transmission of private assets by using a public key to encrypt data.
