360i appoints David Berkowitz as director of strategic planning
David Berkowitz, formerly director of marketing for Viewpoint Corp.’s rich media advertising group Unicast, has been named director of strategic planning at performance and search marketing agency 360i LLC.
“David’s spot-on viewpoints regarding emerging technology and industry shifts will be extremely valuable to both us and our clients as we expand our client offerings,” says 360i senior vice president and managing director John Ragals. In his new role, Berkowitz will work with senior management to develop the company’s strategy within emerging fields such as video search, mobile search, RSS, podcasting and pay-per-call. He will also work to enhance client strategy on how to integrate search marketing beyond paid and natural search.
A frequent speaker at industry conferences, Berkowitz was previously director of marketing with search engine marketing company iCrossing. Earlier in his career, he managed both editorial and media relations programs with research firm eMarketer.
