iXL Draws More Top Consulting Talent

iXL (Nasdaq: IIXL) announced today that it has added three industry-leading experts to its senior client service and delivery teams. The company also said that it continues to aggressively pursue and attract top consulting professionals. In February, iXL`s President and Chief Executive Officer Christopher M. Formant joined iXL from PricewaterhouseCoopers. The new additions are:

* Jay D. Norman - Jay Norman will lead iXL`s Financial Services consulting practice. Mr. Norman most recently led PricewaterhouseCoopers` (PwC) financial services e-business practice and was the lead client partner for American Express and Ford Credit. Mr. Norman joined PwC in 1995, and prior to that, he held leadership positions with McKinsey and Company, Andersen Consulting and Digital Equipment. Mr. Norman holds a BA and an MBA from Drake University. Mr. Norman is considered the preeminent consultant in the web-banking and brokerage industries. He is also a thought leader and frequent speaker on strategies and trends for the financial electronic commerce and Internet retail banking industries.

* Sanjay K. Apte - Sanjay Apte joins iXL as the company`s senior Information Technology (IT) and engineering executive. He is responsible for the development of technology-based solutions for clients. Mr. Apte was most recently Senior Vice President - Professional Services for Financial Fusion, a Sybase company, where he was responsible for the construction of Sybase`s highly successful Financial Fusion banking software solution. Prior to that, Mr. Apte`s responsibilities included overseeing Sybase implementations for leading banking, brokerage and insurance firms. Mr. Apte has also held key positions for Ingres Corporation and Chase Manhattan Bank. Mr. Apte is an expert in delivering Web based, enterprise solutions for the banking, brokerage and insurance industries, including client server and legacy system integration. He holds an MS in Computer Sciences from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and an MBA from Bombay University.

* Patrick L. Carter - Patrick Carter will lead iXL`s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) practice. Mr. Carter was most recently the President of Targetbase Interactive (TBi), an Omnicom Group Company. Prior to joining Omnicom, Mr. Carter was a Senior Manager in Ernst & Young`s CRM practice. Mr. Carter is considered a leading expert in CRM applications for the telecommunications industry and has managed large-scale, complex CRM implementations for major clients including US West, Sprint and TCI Communications. Mr. Carter has also held key technical positions with corporations including AT&T. He holds a BS in Management Information Systems and Marketing from Syracuse University.
