Northwest retail chain Joe’s Sports hires new head of e-commerce
Wilsonville, OR-based Joe`s Sports & Outdoor has hired Kelly C. Jett as e-commerce manager. He was formerly web business development manager for Salomon North America.
Jett`s duties include working with the JoesSports.com site host, GSI Commerce, to develop, oversee and manage web-based marketing and merchandising. Focus of those efforts will be on customer relationship marketing, including e-mail campaigns, newsletters and other online sales materials; web site development and growth through customer-acquisition strategies such as online advertising, mailing list buys and search engine placement; and site enhancement and technology projects to improve customer service and fulfillment.
Joe`s Sports & Outdoor, No. 341 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide, is a privately held retail chain of 29 sports & outdoor stores in Oregon, Washington and Idaho formerly known as G.I. Joe’s.
