Jos. A. Bank gives its CIO a bigger role in direct sales
Multi-channel retailer Jos. A. Bank Clothiers Inc. is putting Gary Merry, its top technology executive, in charge of catalog operations. Jos. A. Bank, No. 233 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide, includes e-commerce in its catalog operations.
The retailer has promoted Merry, senior vice president for operations, to executive vice president, where he will be in charge of all store and catalog operations.
Merry, who also serves as chief information officer, will report to executive chairman and CEO Robert N. Wildrick. Merry joined Jos. A. Bank in 2000 and has held positions including head of store development, distribution and call center.
