Egghead.com Announces Additions to Management Team
Egghead.com(R), Inc.

products, today announced three additions to its management team supporting
the company`s focus on the Small- to Medium-sized Business (SMB) community and
its march toward Q4`01 profitability. Joining Egghead.com are Robert
Islinger, senior vice president of Marketing; Eileen Charlton, controller and
vice president of Finance; and Gordon Viggiano, vice president of Direct
Sales. The company also announced that CFO John Labbett is leaving to pursue
a new opportunity closer to his home in Los Angeles, and the company has hired
Mark C. Shepherd as its new Chief Financial Officer.
"John has done an admirable job in his role as CFO, and we are pleased
that he was able to stay and complete several key financial objectives,
including the securing of the IBM financing line," said Jeff Sheahan,

dedication, which has helped to ensure a very smooth transition. At the same
time, we are excited to have found an outstanding CFO in Mark Shepherd, who is
ideally suited to lead our financial operations as we drive toward
profitability this year."
Mr. Shepherd (45) brings over 20 years of financial and operations
experience in both the public and private markets. Most recently, he served
as Managing Partner, Finance and CFO of 54th Street Partners, a professional
management consulting company he co-founded in 1999. Prior to that, he served
as CEO and COO for YES! Entertainment Corp., SVP Finance and Operations for
Einstein/Noah`s Bagel Corp., and CFO of Lewis Galoob Toys.
Robert S. Islinger (45) joins Egghead.com as senior vice president of
Marketing. In this role, he will oversee all marketing activities, including
direct and database marketing; customer acquisition and retention; and
promotional programs. Prior to joining Egghead.com, Mr. Islinger was senior
vice president of Marketing, Advertising, and Promotions for Office Max, Inc.
and senior vice president of Strategic Planning and Marketing for Payless
Cashways, Inc.

in marketing, advertising and business customer development to the company,"

his team building style and proven track record in rejuvenating profitable

vice president of Marketing."
Eileen Charlton (50) joins Egghead.com as vice president of Finance and
controller, replacing Leslie Benson. Ms. Charlton will direct and oversee all
aspects of accounting including financial statements, accounts payable,
accounts receivable, payroll, fixed assets, cash management and tax compliance
reporting. Prior to joining Egghead.com, Charlton was controller of
Desktop.com, Inc. Ms. Charlton brings over twenty years of progressive,
hands-on financial management including service management for B2B Internet
bank payment solutions as the controller of BankServ, Inc.
Gordon Viggiano (43) joins Egghead.com`s B2B management team in the newly
created role of vice president of Direct Sales. He will direct and oversee
the company`s outbound telesales force, which focuses the company`s core SMB
customers. Prior to joining Egghead.com, he was the director of Sales
Operations for Brigade Corporation. As founder and vice president of Sales
for InfoPlex Corporation, Mr. Viggiano successfully grew the company to
130 telesales employees before selling it to Brigade Corporation in 2000.
With the addition of this new position, Norm Hullinger, senior vice
president of Sales & Operations, has taken the opportunity to pursue other
interests.

including Bill Burbank as vice president of Operations and now Gordon Viggiano
