ALIBRIS STRENGTHENS LEADERSHIP TEAM BY APPOINTING NEW VICE PRESIDENT, ENGINEERING
Emeryville, CA - March 26, 2001 - Alibris (www.alibris.com), the leading

Uday Walia as Vice President, Engineering. Walia will be responsible for the
strategy and direction of technology at Alibris, and will continue to
develop a team of outstanding engineers who support the company`s strong
business growth.
With over 20 years of experience in technology and management, Walia has
designed and implemented highly scalable, reliable, and secure Internet
systems for a wide range of companies. Most recently, he was Chief
Technology Officer of Done.com, a wireless services company that he
co-founded. Prior to that, he was co-founder and Chief Technology Officer
of GetSmart.com. He has also held management positions at Wells Fargo Bank
and Nortel Networks.
