Travidia Hires International Business Development Professional Richard Luck to Head Western Region Media Sales
CHICO, Calif., June 6, 2005 – Travidia Inc., the market leader in Internet marketing services for newspapers and retailers throughout North America and Europe, today announced that international business development and marketing specialist Richard Luck will serve as vice president of media sales overseeing the western region.
Most recently, Luck was business development director and partner with Future of News in Boulder, Colorado – a developer of software for the newspaper industry – where he negotiated contracts with four of the top six newspaper media companies.

Before joining Future of News, Luck served in various capacities with DRW (International) and Wolstenholme Partners where among other things he successfully negotiated newsprint supply contracts with Russian newspaper mills, imported in excess of 120 ocean containers of products per month from Russia, Malaysia and South Africa, and developed a division of Wolstenholme Partners, achieving annual sales of $32 million in 6 years.
