SPS Commerce Appoints Archie Black as New President
March 29, 2001 - SPS Commerce, the leading Supply Chain Integration Service provider, announced today that it has named Archie Black as its president. Black previously served as the company`s chief financial officer.
As SPS Commerce`s new president, Black will lead the future direction of the company`s business model, service offerings and strategic partnerships to continue its penetration of the supply chain integration service market. Black, who has more than 15 years experience as a senior manager, joined SPS Commerce in 1998. Previously, he was a senior vice president and chief financial officer at Investment Advisers, of Minneapolis, Minn., where he directed both its Minneapolis and London offices.
Prior to Investment Advisers, Black, a Certified Public Accountant, spent three years at PriceWaterhouse. His expertise encompasses venture capital, international business, finance and administration. Michael Gorman of St. Paul Venture Capital and a member of SPS Commerce`s Board of Directors said Black has consistently showcased his leadership skills by managing organizational growth, securing corporate funding, facilitating acquisitions and building strong management teams.

Black has named his executive team to include: Jim Frome, executive vice president and chief strategy officer; Michael McCabe, senior vice president of sales; Michael Harrington, vice president of client services; and Anne Knapp, vice president of operations.
