Infopia Announces Strategic Alliance with Network Commerce
Network Commerce to Offer Marketplace Manager Product Exposure
Service to More Than 1 Million b2bNow and FreeMerchant Members
Infopia Inc., developer of Marketplace Manager(TM) -- the leading
product exposure and marketplace feedback service for merchants --
Tuesday announced a strategic alliance to offer Marketplace Manager to
merchants affiliated with Network Commerce through its FreeMerchant
and b2bNow properties.
Under the terms of the agreement, Network Commerce will
strategically integrate the Marketplace Manager offering into its
sites that contain value-added resources for merchants and small- to
medium-sized businesses.
The Marketplace Manager service will allow Network Commerce
members to list their products and services on several hundred top
online auctions and marketplaces in the Infopia network and receive
back orders and valuable feedback on product performance.
"This agreement marks a significant step in our aggressive
campaign to form strategic alliances with major merchant services
companies," said Bjorn Espenes, president and chief executive officer
of Infopia. "We really add value by providing this unique and
effective service to the kind of quality members that are involved
with companies like Network Commerce.
"People who understand how to be successful are usually the first
ones to identify the tools of success and Marketplace Manager is an
essential tool for selling products online. We hope to bring Network
Commerce members the kind of success that so many of our current
subscribers are experiencing."
"Our members are very interested in finding services that are
going to make them more successful," said Jennifer Rogers, senior vice
president of Network Commerce. "Our goal is to continue to add
services that bring real value to our members, and we believe
Marketplace Manager is that kind of service."
