Co-chairman of the DMA joins Winterberry Group as managing director

Michael Grant, a veteran catalog industry consultant and co-chairman of the Direct Marketing Association’s Catalog and Multichannel Marketing Council, has joined retail consultants Winterberry Group as a managing director, Winterberry said today.

“Mike is a true industry veteran whose expertise in the catalog industry will further our ability to meet the needs of clients in the multi-channel marketer sector,” said Bruce Biegel, senior managing director of Winterberry.

Before joining Winterberry, Grant served as president and founder of Michael Grant Direct, a direct marketing consulting company that offered services including circulation planning and analysis, strategic planning and database design and implementation. As an independent catalog consultant for more than 13 years, Grant worked with more than 100 direct mailers and service providers.

Prior to Michael Grant Direct, Grant worked in direct marketing for Columbia House, Citibank and J. Crew.
