July site availability retains the status quo

Web shoppers in July could access a top 50 retail site with a high broadband connection an average of 99.05% of the time, compared with an average of 97.80% for a low broadband connection and 88% for dial-up, says Gomez Inc.

The retailers delivering the best dial-up success rate in July included Avon.com at 98.48% and OfficeDepot.com at 97.7%.

The web merchant providing the best high broadband availability was OfficeMax.com at 99.75%.
