MISSISSAUGA, Ontario, - April 17, 2001 - Psion Teklogix, a global provider of mobile computing solutions for the enterprise, today announced it has completed a deal with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) to develop and install a new enterprise solution featuring 802.IQ* wireless technology for the mobile computing market. Under the terms of this deal, Psion Teklogix has supplied the hardware and an optimized wireless technology (802.IQ) which PwC has installed, integrated and will support in warehouse environments of one of its clients in the USA.
PwC, one of the world`s largest professional services organizations, provides clients with solutions to complex business problems and measurably enhances their ability to build value, manage risk and improve performance in 150 countries worldwide.

PwC, consultants to the customer, were chosen to implement the inventory control system, which entails warehouse management software, hand-held and vehicle-mount computers, all of which run on the 802.IQ optimized radio network. In conjunction with the installation, PwC designed the data center, wireless network and PC rollout. The 150-user system has been implemented in a 1.5 million square-foot facility of one of the largest discount retailers in the USA.
