It also aims to impress customers with free, same-day deliveries in Manhattan. Though only about one shopper per day requests it, Aksas says, "If you live in California and see we have that feature, it gives you confidence that we're special and will give you great service." Aksel facilitates home try-ons, shipping five shirts to a customer with return labels and charging for only those kept. It also works with tailors nationwide so shoppers can get their measurements taken, which they then can use to order bespoke Aksel suits online. The e-retailer will also mail consumers a tape measure with do-it-yourself instructions supported by web videos.
