Skinit names former Shutterfly exec chief technology officer

Skinit Inc. named Stanford Au chief technology officer. Au previously worked as senior vice president of technology at Shutterfly Inc., where he helped develop the company’s social networking services Photobook Gallery and Shared Groups.

At Skinit, Au is tasked with expanding the company’s on-demand customization solutions.

Prior to Shutterfly, Au was vice president of products at WebEx where he helped developed new product plans and web meeting application services.

Skinit produces customizable skins, or device covers, for electronic products such as mobile phones.
