AudienceScience, the online advertising network formerly known as Revenue Science, has secured $20 million in venture funding from existing investors. The funding will be used to bolster the company’s audience-targeting technology, while also allowing the company to add staff.
A company spokeswoman says that the funding will allow the company, which currently operates in the U.S. and U.K., to double its U.K. staff, while also expanding into Japan.
“We are excited that the company will have further means to leverage our leading technology and industry relationships to aggressively extend our market presence—both in the U.S. and internationally,” says Jeff Hirsch, AudienceScience president and CEO.
AudienceScience raised the $20 million from Silicon Valley firms Mohr, Davidow Ventures; Mayfield Fund; Meritech Capital Partners; and Integral Capital Partners.
