Omniture reports robust revenue, narrowing loss
Omniture Inc., which is in the process of being acquired by Adobe Systems Inc., is having a pretty good year, in spite of the economy. While it’s still losing money, it has narrowed its bottom line loss faster than it grew its top line revenue. For the nine months ending Sept. 30, Omniture reports:
- revenue of $262.6 million, up 24% from $212.6 million in the first nine months of last year.
- net loss of $21.6 million, down 41% from its loss of $36.7 million a year ago.
For the third quarter, Omniture reports:
- revenue of $87.8 million, up 13% from $77.8 million in Q3 a year ago
- net loss of $8.5 million, down 51% from a loss of $17.3 million in Q3 a year ago
Omniture reports that it has incurred $5.2 million in expenses related to the acquisition.
During the third quarter, Omniture captured data from more than 1.1 trillion transactions and added 150 clients.
