The fourth quarter began on a positive note for e-commerce stocks.
The Internet Retailer Online Retail Index gained 3.9% Oct. 1-9, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average advanced 1.5% and the Standard & Poor’s 500 Index gained 1.4%.
Nineteen of the 25 e-commerce companies tracked by the Online Retail Index advanced, led by web and mobile measurement company Keynote Systems.
