Search engine marketing firm names a worldwide sales exec

Search engine marketing firm Relevant Searches has named Geoffrey Price as senior vice president of worldwide sales. Price has more than 11 years experience in executive leadership and sales roles.

"We're pleased to welcome Geoff to our team where he will have a key role in establishing Relevant Searches as the SEM market leader," says CEO Maury Domengeaux. "In our search for a sales leader, we were looking for someone with deep search engine marketing experience who could articulate the unique advantages of our Smart Feed platform to new clients. We are confident that Geoff's track record of success in SEM sales combined with his experience in managing the long-term needs of enterprise accounts will have a dramatic effect on revenue."

Before joining Relevant Searches, Price held senior management positions at search engine marketing firm Efficient Frontier and at Yahoo. At Efficient Frontier, Price was vice president of sales for four years. Price was with Yahoo for seven years and during that time he was responsible for West Coast sales for Yahoo Enterprise Services, formerly Broadcast.com, and managed a client services team in Yahoo’s Alliances group, which was responsible for securing and growing Yahoo’s large strategic partnerships. Price also held various sales and marketing positions at software firm Intuit and retailer Williams-Sonoma.

"I'm excited to be joining the strong management team at Relevant Searches, and most importantly, helping the company position itself as the undisputed leader in the SEM marketplace," Price says.

Relevant Searches’ customers include online retailers Buy.com and eToys.com.
