Outdoor gear and accessories retailer Gander Direct has named Bill Hagerott as the director of digital media. Hagerott will oversee the direction of all online programs including web site design, usability and development for GanderMountain.com, Overtons.com and ConsumersMarine.com.
Hagerott who will report to Gander Direct's CEO Mark Metcalfe was previously vice president of publisher operations at Fox Interactive Media.
Based in Greenville, NC, Gander Direct comprises the Internet and catalog operations for parent Gander Mountain Co. Gander is No. 225 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide.
