SpeedFC adds a business development exec

SpeedFC Inc., which offers a range of services to online retailers including fulfillment, web development and web hosting, has named Doug Roedel vice president of business development. Roedel will be responsible for finding new clients for the company.

Roedel has more than 15 years of marketing experience in e-commerce, consumer products, retail, entertainment and promotional media. His background includes development and execution of a broad range of interactive and Internet initiatives.

Roedel began his career as the senior executive of corporate communications at Macy's. There, he produced satellite television programming for fashion and apparel brands. Additionally, Roedel has directed multiple e-commerce launches and worked in marketing at several companies including apparel retailer Aeropostale, Cosmedicine Skincare, and at numerous sports and entertainment properties.

“I am very excited to be a part of SpeedFC’s team and participate in growing its business,” says Roedel. “I am impressed with SpeedFC and believe there are tremendous opportunities for the company as Internet retailing continues to grow at an exceptional pace.”

SpeedFC’s clients include online handbag retailer eBags.com, women’s apparel retailer The Limited and beauty and skincare retailer Ulta.
