comScore expands marketing team overseas

ComScore Inc. has named Ellen Marzell senior director of marketing solutions for comScore Europe. She most recently was vice president of business development at In Game Advertising Worldwide, where she had been working with comScore to create third-party measurement systems to deliver measurable advertising return on investment to online advertisers.

The appointment marks the expansion of comScore’s marketing solutions services in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and will allow the Internet measurement firm to focus on the marketing needs of online publishers, agencies and advertisers.

“Ellen’s depth of experience in media and marketing solutions make her a valuable addition to our growing team,” says Mike Read, senior vice president and managing director of comScore Europe. “Her track record of identifying new growth areas and custom solutions make her ideally suited to serve comScore’s growing customer base and deliver world-class marketing intelligence.”

Marzell has previously held senior international sales and development roles at WPP/Global Sportnet, AOL’s Advertising.com (Platform A) and the Perform Group. Prior to these roles, she was senior vice president at IMG Media, where she worked with major brands to create ad-funded content initiatives and set up and ran IMG’s global research division, Comperio Research.
