It was a battle of the big dogs last month as eBay and Amazon each took top spots in sales in separate online product categories, according to the Nielsen Online MegaView Report. Amazon ranked No. 1 for consumer electronics purchases at retail sites in June with 1.27 million sales and eBay took the top spot for health and wellness sales with 741,000.
The top e-commerce product category based on order size was computer hardware with $324.44 and the top-converting e-retailer was ProFlowers.com with a 24% conversion rate.
