CyberDefender Corp., a developer and online seller of software to fight spyware and viruses, has named Raffi Simonian vice president of e-commerce.
Simonian, who has more than 25 years of software experience, joins CyberDefender from the Walt Disney Co. Before Disney, he was director of personal media software development at AOL, where he managed development, quality assurance and product deployments of all enterprise-level media products from inception to launch. He joined AOL through its acquisition of Xdrive, where he was vice president of engineering.
The company also named Michael Barrett vice president-finance and accounting. Barrett had previously served CyberDefender as interim chief financial officer.
