Warehouse86 appoints planning and engineering exec

Warehouse86 Ventures LLC, which operates online auction site Bidtopia and also provides logistics and warehouse management systems, has named Jason Wellikoff vice president of planning and engineering.

Wellikoff will use his experience in transportation, supply chain management, logistics and distribution to improve production processes, evaluate daily tasks and help Warehouse86 develop and plan business strategies for future growth, the company says.

“Jason is an imagineer,” explains Bill Doherty, CEO of Warehouse86. “He sees the way things are and finds ways to make them better. I look forward to seeing his proven creativity drive the future of Warehouse86.”

“Having worked with both Ken May and Bill Doherty in the past, I know our skills synchronize well together,” Wellikoff says of Doherty and company chairman May, both of whom joined the company in December after careers at FedEx. “It’s a privilege to collaborate with a team of industry experts for a company that has such a bright future.” Warehouse86 Ventures LLC’s business units include the reverse logistics solution Warehouse86, the warehouse management system The Gavel, online liquidator, Bargainland and online auction platform Bidtopia.com.
