Online video game rental service GameFly Inc. has redesigned its web site. The new GameFly.com offers additional content, new and updated features, and a simplified navigational interface. The aim, the company says, was to provide “an enhanced, effortless experience for customers.”
“Our goal is to continuously offer the best user experience possible. The new site was designed and tested with a high level of consumer input,” says Dave Hodess, president and CEO. “The newly designed GameFly site allows gamers to access video games and related content in an extremely convenient and effective manner.”
GameFly, No. 271 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide, has optimized the site to gain improved, faster performance. New global navigation dropdown menus help customers locate content faster and with greater detail, the company says.
New functions and upgraded features enable customers to scroll over game boxes with a mouse to reveal game information. The new game details pages provide more content at a glance, including critics’ reviews, user reviews, videos, screenshots and FAQs. In addition, an updated Pre-Played Store allows customers to search for used games quickly by price and platform.
