CommerceHub, provider of fulfillment and supply chain integration services for retailers and wholesale distributors, has appointed Michael P. Zeisser to the board of directors. The company also reports that Randy Ronning has resigned from the board.
Zeisser is senior vice president of Liberty Media Corp., where he oversees electronic commerce, interactive gaming and digital media. Liberty’s e-commerce properties include QVC.com, Provide Commerce, Backcountry.com, BuySeasons.com, Bodybuilding.com, IAC/InterActiveCorp, and Expedia. Liberty is No. 11 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide.
Zeisser has served on the boards of IAC/InterActiveCorp., OpenTV, Provide Commerce, BuySeasons Inc., Backcountry.com, BodyBuilding.com, QVC Inc., GSN/The Network for Games, Fun Technologies, GoPets Ltd, and SlingMedia. Before joining Liberty Media, Zeisser was a partner at McKinsey & Co. in New York.
Randy Ronning, retired chief merchandising officer for QVC and QVC.com, had served on the CommerceHub board since 2002. Ronning recently joined ShopNBC’s board.
CommerceHub manages more than $6 billion in goods annually for retailers including Costco, QVC, Staples, drugstore.com, Ty’s Toy Box, Kmart, Sears, Toys ‘R’ Us, Walgreens, Best Buy, Meijer, Bon-Ton, Overstock, Dell, Toshiba, Sanyo, Minolta, Gateway and Little Tikes.
