Oriental Trading Co. has a new chief operating officer. Dana Fuller will oversee Oriental Trading’s sourcing, inventory, quality assurance, information technology, warehouse, call center and transportation programs.
Fuller, who will be a senior vice president, joins Oriental Trading, No. 49 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide, from Estee Lauder Cos. Inc. where he was a senior vice president and chief information officer. At Estee Lauder, Fuller oversaw global information technology applications and hardware support services for offices and distribution centers in 130 countries. Prior to Estee Lauder, Fuller was senior vice president and chief information officer for Ryder Systems Inc. Earlier in his career he served in the U.S. Navy for 26 years as a supply corps officer, including as the chief information officer for the headquarters of the Navy’s supply chain and later as CEO of the Navy’s software house for non-tactical business systems.
At Oriental Trading, Fuller will report to CEO Sam Taylor who joined the company in May. Previously Taylor worked as a senior vice president with Hewlett-Packard Co., where he oversaw the manufacturer’s e-commerce site and the global direct-to-consumer business.
