Former eBay exec named CEO at web gift card exchange Plastic Jungle

Online gift card exchange Plastic Jungle has hired former eBay marketing executive Gary Briggs as CEO.

Briggs most recently served as chief marketing officer for eBay North America. He previously held several other executive positions at eBay Inc., including vice president and country manager of eBay Canada and vice president of consumer marketing at eBay.com. Prior to eBay, Briggs was chief marketing officer at OurHouse.com and director of worldwide brand strategy for IBM Corp.
