E-mail marketing technology and services provider Experian CheetahMail has named Greg Whalen vice president of development. Whalen will lead the development of the next generation of CheetahMail’s primary application, slated for release later this year.
Whalen previously was co-founder and principal consultant of Wisdom Data Services Corp., a software development company based in China. Before that he was an independent consultant and worked for R/GA, an interactive advertising agency.
“The data and technological requirements of today’s organizations are much more sophisticated, and with our aggressive development plans it was critical to find the right person who could execute and steer our application’s advancement,” says Matthew Seeley, president.
Whalen will report to Fred Lindberg, the company’s chief technology officer.
