SilverShake’s site search the jewel in the crown

SilverShake Corp., a manufacturer and direct online seller of silver gemstone jewelry, saw its sales increase by 32% after implementing the Qwiser Salesperson site search tool from Celebros Ltd., the retailer reports.

The new site search function replaced a former text-based search on the site that SilverShake.com, with more than 10,000 products in the online catalog and a multi-national customer base, had outgrown. Qwiser’s search methodology delivers accurate results for all types of query phrasing and also uses every contact with the shopper as a selling opportunity, SilverShake says.

When shoppers search for an item not available at the online store, for example, the site search function suggests relevant alternatives. And it automatically promotes the most popular relevant items to the top of the list on returned search results, further increasing the chance for additional sales, the company says.

Kfir Gershowitz, marketing director, notes that the company started seeing a lift soon after the new site search engine went live. “It’s made a significant difference in our business,” he says. “Celebros engineers installed Qwiser remotely in less than a week and the results could actually be seen within days.”
