As the web grows in importance to the retailing industry, competitors will raise the bar on what makes an engaging web site. One area that will quickly undergo change is imagery. All retailers will be forced to invest more time and effort into creating photos of merchandise. And they will have to present as many views of a product as possible to engage shoppers most fully.
