KEYNOTE: Wal-Mart: Setting the pace on site design
Debbie Kristofferson, Vice President of Creative and User Experience, Walmart.com

As benefits the world's largest retailer, Wal-Mart has invested significant time and resources into relaunching Walmart.com. The new site sports a crisp, clean look; the pages are quick to download and the site is easy to navigate. Walmart.com also makes extensive use of such advanced features as rich media applications and customer reviews. In addition, Walmart.com is a textbook case of creating a site that supports corporate goals. It clearly communicates that shoppers can buy at Walmart.com, but that they can also use the site to make their trip to a Wal-Mart store more efficient and rewarding. Our keynote speaker is in charge of making sure the user experience at Walmart.com remains at a high level and was the chief executive involved with Walmart.com's site redesign last year. She will provide significant detail on the project, including Wal-Mart's goals in redesigning the site and how well the site has met its expectations.
