One of the biggest challenges web designers face when called in to revamp a site is that retailers often don't know what they want or what they can realistically expect to spend on a redesign. This session will walk retailers through how to think about a design—how to identify problems you want a redesign to solve, how to prioritize initiatives and how to communicate all that to a designer. It will also discuss pricing of site design projects, help retailers understand how much they can expect to spend and discuss choosing a design company and managing the process. Our speakers are a design consultant who has worked with many clients in conceiving and executing design projects and a retailer who has gone through a redesign. Both will take attendees step-by-step through the first stages of a site redesign.
