IRCE 2009 Speaker Faculty: E-Retailing Expertise From Every Industry
Just as the Internet Retailer 2009 Conference & Exhibition draws attendees from every corner of the diverse e-retailing business, the record 178 speakers at IRCE 2009 represent all industry segments that conduct e-retailing operations. Such diversity of speakers is one of the hallmarks of IRCE, and it explains why its conference agenda appeals to all players in e-retailing. Simply put, the IRCE agenda covers e-retailing from a wide variety of perspectives and shows bias toward none.
As important as who are selected as speakers is how speakers are selected. All speakers at IRCE 2009 are chosen independently by the editors of Internet Retailer, who are responsible for developing the conference agenda. They select as speakers those e-retailing professionals they consider the most qualified individuals to address a particular conference topic based on the thousands of interviews they conduct each year in researching their articles. No speakers are chosen based on their affiliation with a show sponsor or a particular association.
