Mitchell Lieberman was the first to utilize eBay auctions to sell furniture online in 1997, using seller name "Furniture." Mitch started OneWayFurniture.com in 2001and recalls the first online order: he answered the e-mail, printed a shipping label, packed the box and called the customer with tracking numbers. Five years, later OneWayFurniture employs 22 and has annual sales of $17 Million. OneWayFurniture.com operates on Order Harbor software, developed in house by vice president of technology Naoya Higashi. Mitch graduated from Queens College in 1997 with a B.A prior to starting his online business.
