Albert DiPadova and his wife Shannon Raffetto DiPadova own and operate Due Maternity, a web site and four-store chain of fashionable maternity wear which they launched in 2003. "Due was born out of necessity," Albert says. "While visiting family in Santa Barbara during Shannon's pregnancy, we noticed there were no specific maternity stores to shop. It seemed strange that Santa Barbara had so many great clothing stores, yet no stylish boutique featuring clothes and products a mom-to-be would desire." They launched DueMaternity.com, then opened stores in San Francisco, Santa Barbara, Austin, Texas, and Atlanta.
