Dan Schatt is a Senior Analyst within Celent Communications' retail banking group, where his research and consulting are focused on emerging technologies impacting retail financial services, with a particular emphasis on online banking and electronic payment systems. Before joining Celent, Dan was a senior director at Yodlee Inc., where he managed a cross-functional team charged with the development and implementation of strategic data integrations with top-tier financial institutions and portals. Previously, he was the Co-Founder and Director of Corporate Development at CrossFunds Inc., a company focused on card-based international funds transfer solutions to the sub-prime market. Prior to CrossFunds, Dan worked as an investment banker in the Financial Institutions' Group of Salomon Smith Barney and held various positions within Citigroup in North America, Asia, and Africa. He received a dual MBA (finance) and MIA (international economic policy) from Columbia University and his BA from the University of California at Santa Barbara.
