Safa has been ranked for his research in Institutional Investor magazine for three years and was named to The Wall Street Journal's "2002 Best on the Street" analyst survey. Safa's research coverage has focused on online advertising, search and e-commerce and related Internet services. He joined Piper Jaffray in 1997 with a background in the Internet and in the digital imaging industry, including as president of ColorWorks Graphics, the digital imaging company he founded.
