Kurt Peters is Editor of Internet Retailer where his responsibilities include all content
of Internet Retailer magazine and InternetRetailer.com, research and production of the
Internet Retailer Guide to the Top 300 Online Retailers and research and production of
the Internet Retailer Resource Guide. He is one of the founding partners of Vertical Web
Media, which publishes Internet Retailer , and was part of the team that developed
Internet Retailer under its former ownership, Faulkner & Gray, a unit of The
Thomson Corp. Kurt has more than 25 years business journalism experience, including as founding
editor of POS News , the first newsletter covering electronic payment at the retail point
of sale, and was part of the team that started the credit card group of publications, conferences and
directories at Faulkner & Gray. He holds B.A. and M.A. degrees from Northwestern University.
