The web and store connection makes The Container Store a top competitor.

Given that The Container Store sells storage and organizational products, it isn't surprising that its web site is clean and uncluttered. And the site's product pages feature plenty of videos and other content aimed at helping shoppers keep organized. The retailer's online sales are growing fast, rising 24.6% in 2012, thanks in part to shopper-friendly initiatives like its buy online, pick-up in store service that features curbside delivery to the customer's car. To continue that growth the retailer says it plans to continue investing in the web. "Advanced technologies, provide additional convenience and flexibility to our customers and reinforce our commitment to providing a differentiated shopping experience," the retailer said in a recent U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission filing.
