ShopIgniter Hires Justin Kistner and Clay Moore to Drive Market Strategy and Product Direction

Expands San Francisco Office and Industry Expertise With New Hires

PORTLAND, OR--(Apr 26, 2013) - ShopIgniter, the company that is transforming how brands advertise to social + mobile consumers, announced today that industry veterans Justin Kistner and Clay Moore have joined the company as senior director of strategy and senior director marketing solutions, respectively. Kistner will build and drive ShopIgniter's client advisory service, counseling brands on how to best apply paid media to their ShopIgniter rich media post campaigns. And, with over a dozen years' experience in digital media, Moore will be responsible for development and execution of consultative sales strategies, aligning ShopIgniter's social + mobile solutions with client and partner business goals.

Kistner, a recognized social media thought leader and developer of industry standard-setting benchmarks, remarked, "Brands have spent years building their fan base, and investing in apps and creating a robust social presence. Now, they are asking: 'What next?' I'm so excited about ShopIgniter because they are leading the wave of this second phase of social marketing, providing a real framework to help brands assess, plan and enact strategies that realize their true reach and monetization potential through a combination of creative, paid media, and analytics."

Prior to ShopIgniter, Kistner served as senior director of product at Spruce Media where he was responsible for driving product strategy for its Facebook advertising workflow management solution. Earlier, he was director of social products at Webtrends, driving the development of social products for the company. He was the key component behind the development of Webtrends' Facebook Analytics and its end-to-end Facebook campaign solutions -- a market first for the industry. Kistner is a well-recognized Facebook marketing expert with his work quoted in CNN, BusinessWeek, The Wall Street Journal, and Financial Times.

"It's an exciting time for marketers as we look to pull rich consumer experiences directly into mobile and social streams. I'm thrilled to join ShopIgniter -- the team that day over day sets the standard for driving engagement and optimal performance across mobile and social channels," said Moore. "At the end of the day, ShopIgniter stands alone in its understanding of the tremendous consumer value brands need to provide at the point of interaction."

Most recently Moore was principle business consultant at ExactTarget where he focused on strategic new business sales, marketing and sales framework development, and enablement of partners and enterprise sales teams. His previous roles include product manager for customer community products at Jive Software, as well as management roles at Webtrends in the solutions engineering, product management, and professional services organizations.

Today's news comes on the heels of a significant update to the Igniter platform, which now enables marketers to create, manage and measure rich social media advertising campaigns directly in consumers' social streams. An end-to-end enterprise platform, Igniter boosts reach, frequency and consumer engagement deep into the marketing funnel -- from discovery and engagement to sharing, product consideration and lead generation. With Igniter, brands like Whole Foods, Target, GoPro, Sony Music, Levi's and Lenovo are driving real and sustained brand and business value from social media.
