Roger Hardy, who in February sold web-only eyewear company Coastal Contacts for $385.7 million, will consolidate OnlineShoes.com and ShoeMe.ca.
Greg Clark will oversee marketing for some 35 brands, including Jones New York.
The Jones Group Inc., which owns more than 35 fashion brands including Jones New York, Nine West, Easy Spirit, Boutique 9 and Anne Klein, has hired Greg Clark as its chief marketing officer, the company announced today.
Clark, most recently senior vice president of creative marketing at J.C. Penney Co. Inc., will oversee global marketing and communications, including digital media strategy and branding, the Jones Group says. He reports to chief creative officer Stefani Greenfield.
Jones Retail Corp. is No. 155 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide. J.C. Penney is No. 20.

Before J.C. Penney, Clark was vice president of Toys ‘R’ Us Inc., from 2006 to 2009, according to his LinkedIn profile. He spent nearly two decades prior holding various senior leadership positions in creative and marketing at Marshall Fields (now Macy’s Inc.), Macy’s, Target Corp., Lane Bryant and GSP Marketing Services.
Toys ‘R’ Us is No. 29 in the Top 500; Macy’s, No. 14, and Target, No. 23.
