PC Mall hires a new sales executive

PC Mall has a new head of corporate sales.

PC Mall Inc. has hired Oren J. Hartman as executive vice president of corporate sales. Hartman will reporting to CEO Frank Khulusi and will be responsible for sales to small and mid-sized businesses, says PC Mall, No. 57 in the 2012 Internet Retailer Top 500.

Hartman most recently worked as an information technology consultant, and spent almost 16 years at competing computer retailer CDW Corp. Among other executive positions at CDW he was vice president of national sales and services, in charge of CDW’s software sales in the U.S. and Canada.

Hartman’s compensation includes an annual base salary of $317,500 and a bonus of up to $120,000. Hartman will receive a $60,000 minimum bonus for 2013, the company says. He also has options to purchase 150,000 shares of PC Mall’s common stock.

In September, Kristin Rogers, executive vice president of marketing, retired. Prior to moving into that position, Rogers was executive vice president of sales and marketing. PC Mall has not announced a new top marketing executive.
