Women’s fashion footwear and apparel e-retailer GoJane.com has a new owner. Aeropostale Inc. bought the e-retailer for an undisclosed sum.

GoJane.com will complement Aeropostale’s  e-commerce business as it expands into new product categories, says Thomas P. Johnson CEO of Aeropostale, No. 114 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide.

Aeropostale’s 2011 e-commerce sales totaled $174.0 million. GoJane.com’s 2011 revenue was about $19 million, Aeropostale says.

In addition to its namesake e-commerce site, Aeropostale operates PS4U.com, a children’s clothing site. It also has 914 bricks-and-mortar stores in the U.S. and Puerto Rico.
