Apparel retailer Baskins enters mobile commerce with apps from Ocatalog

The mobile apps easily serve as an extension of the current Baskins brand and provide the retailer with an exciting new way to acquire new customers and retain old ones.

Baskins, retailer of authentic western clothing and compliant work wear has partnered with Ocatalog to help its entry into the mobile commerce world by launching its first mobile commerce apps for the Apple and Android platforms. The mobile apps easily serve as an extension of the current Baskins brand and provide the retailer with an exciting new way to acquire new customers and retain old ones.

Baskins started in 1972 in the small town of Trinity, Texas. Forty years later, Baskins still holds its value of friendliness, fairness and honesty without losing the business values of a small town. With its new mobile commerce apps, Baskins’ wide range of products is now at the fingertips of its consumers.  Customers are able to make purchases within the app, add items to their favourites, share products socially via email, Facebook and Twitter, etc at any time and from anywhere.

With the new native mobile apps from Ocatalog, Baskins can also send custom notifications, product offers, coupons, new product listings, etc. to its customers instantly using the built in push notification services of Ocatalog.

The apps are made available for free download on iTunes and Google Play.
