Karmaloop has hired Tim Kilroy as its vice president of marketing.

He’ll oversee the marketing campaigns for all of the retailer’s business units, which include an online store and marketplace, a private flash sales site, a group of street sales representatives, a contests division and various media sites, says a spokeswoman for the retailer.

Kilroy previously was director, business development, at online home goods retailer Wayfair LLC.

Prior to joining Wayfair last year, he worked at search engine marketing provider PM Digital as its vice president of natural search, according to his LinkedIn profile. He has held a variety of other jobs related to e-commerce, including at direct marketing and customer relationship management company e-Centives and mobile app developer Skyward Mobile LLC.

Karmaloop is No. 138 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide. Wayfair is No. 50.
