The Betty Mills Co. has hired Rana Hannoush as director of search marketing. She comes from Macy’s Inc., where for the past four years she was the retail chain’s search marketing manager, her new employer says.

Macy’s is No. 14 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide. Betty Mills is a business-to-business e-retailer that sells some 130,000 office, industrial, janitorial and medical supply products.

Prior to Macy’s, Hannoush held a digital marketing job with The New York Times Co., according to her new employer. She will oversee all search engine optimization and search engine marketing for Betty Mills.

"Rana is one of the most passionate professionals I have ever met, particularly when it relates to the art and science of search marketing,” says Victor Hanna, CEO of Betty Mills. “The experience and skill set she brings to our organization will further our market share growth and greatly enhance the overall user experience for our customers."
