HPShopping.com and OfficeMax.com had the best web site availability score in Internet Explorer testing among large retailers tested in May, says Compuware Gomez. Last month, both retailers posted 100% Internet Explorer availability. OfficeMax.com and QVC.com tied atop the Firefox availability rankings at 99.99%.
Sears.com and Williams-Sonoma.com (tied at 99.98%) placed next in Internet Explorer tests, followed by LLBean.com and QVC.com (tied at 99.95%).
In Firefox testing, Williams-Sonoma.com (99.98% availability) was followed by HPShopping.com and OfficeMax.com. CDW.com, Dell.com, LLBean.com, Newegg.com and Toysrus.com followed, tied with an availability score of 99.97%.
The average Internet Explorer availability score among the 22 retailers measured in May was 99.37%. The same group of retailers produced an average Firefox score of 99.21%.
